Confidence & Spring Style

The past few months have been so busy, goodness! I’ve been meaning to write, but I’m learning that you make time for the things that are important to you.

So finally I’m making time for this.

My mind has been full lately of all of the spring outfit combinations that I can come up with this year for work. Right now, I’m excited to stroll around the office with my sky blue Ann Taylor blouse I bought several years ago paired with beige trousers and possibly white heels.

Recently I purchased a pair of nude Clarks kitten heels with a block heel and black toe. I’m thinking of pairing these with a green or navy blue dress for work. I’m always excited to try a new style and these block heels are no different. I used to balk at two toned shoes, but the more I think about it, you can wear nude and black heels with a darker toned outfit – think a black or navy dress or you could go lighter and wear them with beige pants and a white blazer.

This past week, my thoughts have been full of my grandma and the legacy of beauty and grace she has left for me and I want to make her proud, and live a life she would be proud of, a life that emulates courage, poise, intellgience, love, grace and beauty. I used to complain about wearing a dress to church when I was younger, but these past few years, I’ve delighted in the fancy of wearing a cute outfit that doesn’t make me confient but reflects the inner confidence within. That’s what clothes should do. They can’t morph you into someone but rather the person you are on the inside should be reflected out. Anyway that’s way too philosophical for a style blog, but I’ve been thinking of this lately.

Either way, stay tuned fo rmore blog posts this spring and for outfit of the day inspirations as I come up with them each day for work!

Love,

A
